Extracurricular & Enrichment
Being able to offer our children a wide range of diverse extracurricular activities is very important as it encourages them to become independent, confident and successful members of the community and inspire them for future goals or careers.
Increasingly, there is a movement towards introducing important ‘soft’ skills, which are the character traits and interpersonal attributes that characterise a person’s relationships with other people, and are considered a complement to hard skills, which refer to a person’s knowledge and occupational skills.
Our aim is to ‘drive the conversation about the subjects that will be beneficial to children in the years ahead, creating resource information that can be used and taught by teachers in a variety of styles’. To support all students in developing the skills and confidence needed to challenge themselves, and make the most of what is on offer, we developed a large series of knowledge-based modules, focusing on pupils acquiring new information, as well as skills-based modules introducing important ‘soft’ skills to pupils.
As part of our education programmes, students create, design and produce small innovation projects to be showcased within their school and the wider community.

Materials you can trust
Our work is checked for on the following aspects:
Content – Qualified teacher experts create and advise on all our teaching materials and that means you can be sure that we’ve gone to great lengths to check that its error free and factually correct.
Relevance – We make new teaching materials every single day, so you know that whatever you see is up to date and relevant.
Purpose – Our materials are tried and tested by teachers to ensure they are fit for purpose so you can be confident they’ll go down a storm in your setting.
Design – Our materials have children in mind, and that’s clear from our design. We use fonts that have been specifically designed for early (and later) readers and choose colour schemes that we know are the most engaging for children.
Our curriculum is developed to:
- Create an aspirational high achievement culture.
- Take into account individual needs and styles.
- Allow everyone to experience success.
- Raise standards of attainment.
- Provide targeted support and additional challenges to ensure all students make at least national rates of progress.
Our objective is to create:
- Successful learners who enjoy learning; make good progress and achieve excellence
- Confident individuals who are able to live safe, healthy and fulfilling lives.
- Responsible citizens who can make a positive contribution to society.
