Personalised, customised content system for: Pupils
Personalised learning is not a replacement, but an approach to general education, that can work with an Individualised Education Program (IEP) or a response to intervention. If done well, all students will be more engaged in their learning. And struggling students will be enabled to get help sooner.
There are four widely used models that schools follow. Each of these models set high expectations for all students and align their learning to a set of rigorous standards, which include:
Learner profiles; to enable a deep understanding of each student’s individual strengths, needs, motivations, progress and goals.
Personalized learning paths; helps each student customise a learning path that responds or adapts, based on: progress, motivations, and goals.
Competency-based progression; continually assessing students to monitor their progress toward specific goals. This system makes it clear to students what they need to master. These competencies include: specific skills, knowledge and mind-sets like developing resilience.
