Accelerated Learning System
Accelerated Learning is an approach which empowers learners, by involving them in their learning at every stage: from setting their own targets, to evaluating their progress, we believe that learners must become key drivers in their learning, so that it becomes meaningful, valuable and personal to them.
How do we achieve accelerated learning, in working with pupils?
Pupils will engage in modules that:
· Have some understanding of; how they think, and how they respond to unknowns/challenges etc. by instinct.
· Realize that there are different types of thinking and different ways to respond, and observing the differences when others are practising.
· Learn to think in the ways that others do, and respond in the ways that others do. Experience the differences.
Pupil outcomes are:
- Pupils understand clearly what they are trying to learn, and what is expected of them
- Parents are given feedback about the quality of their work and how to make it better
- Parents are given advice about how to go about making improvements
- Parents are fully involved in deciding what needs to be done next
